Testing Engineer: Hardware & Systems

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Testing Engineer: Hardware & Systems

Your Responsibilities

• Planning, developing, and conducting hardware tests for devices and systems in the automotive, medical technology, and industrial sectors

• Creating test scenarios, conducting simulations, and validating electrical systems

• Using Sistema for safety analysis and validating functional safety requirements

• Conducting error analyses and supporting system optimization

• Documenting and analyzing test results, creating test reports and test reports

• Close collaboration with electrical design and development to optimize components and systems

• Conducting and supporting EMC tests and tests according to relevant standards

• Participating in the competence center and supporting innovation projects

Your Qualifications

• Completed training as an automation technician, electronics technician, or equivalent qualification, alternatively a degree in electrical engineering (BSc advantageous)

• Experience in testing and validating hardware systems, ideally in safety-critical environments

• Proficient in using test instruments and tools, including Sistema

• Knowledge of simulation and analysis of electrical components (e.g., Spice advantageous)

• Experience in applying relevant standards (e.g., Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive)

• Experience with E-CAD systems (e.g., Zuken E3 or EPLAN) and basic knowledge in electrical design advantageous

• Programming skills (e.g., C++, Python, Lua) for test automation advantageous

• Very good German and good English skills
