Plastics Specialist

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a person as Plastics Specialist (or similar)

Your Responsibilities

• Development, optimization, and implementation of plastic solutions in demanding industrial projects

• Selection of suitable plastics and material combinations for specific applications

• Development of components considering manufacturing processes such as injection molding, extrusion, or thermoforming

• Conducting feasibility analyses, FEM simulations, and service life estimations

• Collaboration with internal development teams and external partners (e.g. toolmakers, producers)

• Support in industrialization and series transfer

• Technical consulting for our customers in Switzerland

Your Qualifications

• Degree in plastics engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or equivalent education

• Several years of professional experience in the development and processing of plastics

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

• Knowledge of CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo) and simulation tools advantageous

• Experience with international industrial projects beneficial

• Very good German skills, English advantageous
